Job Summary

  • The Product Marketer will develop and execute strategies that promote the product lines, with a particular focus on the rapidly expanding product line. This role will work closely with internal teams to drive revenue and increase brand awareness within designated sales channels by collaborating with partners, affiliates, and end users.
  • At the highest level, a successful Product Marketer will masterfully dovetail internal sales objectives with the corporate goals as outlined by Marketing Manager, CEO, and other company leadership. This role will ensure our marketing is strategic, scalable, and aligned with leadership goals. Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional project management abilities are essential for success in this role.
  • The Product Marketer will be charged with maintaining and supporting sales efforts in four key areas:
  • Brand and MARCOMM development (e.g., brochures, case studies, technical content)
  • Tradeshow and event planning (e.g., booth design, logistics, lead capture)
  • Digital marketing (e.g., lead generation, customer relationship management [CRM] adoption, website oversight)
  • Market research (e.g., competitor analysis, product development support)

Job Description

  • Essential Job duties:
  • Brand & Messaging Consistency
  • Develops and maintains brand guidelines for all communications.
  • Ensures consistent messaging across the products .
  • Centralizes marketing assets for sales reps, distributors, and partners.
  • Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
  • Conducts industry analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitors.
  • Tracks emerging markets (e.g., renewables, EV infrastructure, smart grids).
  • Uses analytics to refine target audience segmentation and product positioning.
  • Lead Generation & Sales Support
  • Runs digital marketing campaigns (search engine optimization (SEO), paid ads, email, and social media).
  • Develops sales enablement tools like brochures, presentations, case studies, and videos.
  • Works with sales teams to nurture leads via automated CRM-driven campaigns.
  • Content & Digital Marketing
  • Oversees website, blog, and social media presence.
  • Produces press releases, newsletters, and case studies showcasing
  • Leverages the strengths in local manufacturing (Tarboro) and global innovation.
  • Trade Shows, Events & Partnerships
  • Coordinates tradeshows and industry events with sister companies.
  • Develops event marketing materials (booth design, product demos, lead collection).
  • Strengthens relationships with distributors, contractors, and utilities.
  • Public Relations & Thought Leadership
  • Manages media relations and crisis communication.
  • Positions an industry leader through whitepapers, speaking engagements, and sponsorships.
  • Highlights impact on infrastructure, sustainability, and the U.S. energy transition.

Qualifications

  • A 4-year degree in Marketing/Communication or at least 2 year Associate and/or equivalent years of working experience.
  • A qualified Candidate MUST:
  • Have min. 3 years of professional industry experience developing multifaceted marketing campaigns, especially in a client-based marketing agency setting.
  • Be excited to travel to tradeshows, meetings, manufacturing plants, and customers’ places of business when called upon.
  • Be able to create compelling marketing copy.
  • Have some graphic design experience.
  • Have previous experience working within a CRM.

  • Can manage multi-component projects effectively.

  • Technical Proficiencies: Adobe Creative Suite Microsoft Office HubSpot or comparable CRM
