Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager with strong Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience to lead key accounting and financial operations. This role blends technical accounting expertise with forward-looking financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep experience in cost accounting and operational finance and the ability to effectively communicate in both Korean and English.

Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • - Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • - Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries
  • - Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • - Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
  • - Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • - Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
  • - Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and key cost drivers
  • - Develop and maintain financial models to support operational and strategic initiatives
  • - Partner with operations and plant leadership to drive cost efficiencies and profitability
  • - Prepare executive-level reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI analysis
  • Manufacturing & Cost Accounting
  • - Oversee cost accounting functions including standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
  • - Analyze production costs, labor efficiency, material usage, and overhead allocation
  • - Monitor inventory controls, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes
  • - Partner with procurement and operations teams to manage raw material costs and margins
  • - Support continuous improvement initiatives with data-driven financial insights
  • Leadership & Process Improvement
  • - Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a high-performance team environment
  • - Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • - Support ERP system enhancements and financial reporting tools optimization
  • - Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and senior leadership

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • - Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment (required)
  • - Demonstrated experience in cost accounting and operational finance
  • - Strong FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • - Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • - Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
  • - Experience with QuickBooks (preferred)
  • - Bilingual in Korean and English (required)
