About Our Client
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Buying Head to oversee category buying, product development and supplier strategy. Leading a cross-functional team of 40+, you will drive trend-based product innovation, optimize end-to-end supply chain performance, and deliver sustainable business growth in margin, quality and on-time delivery.
Job Description
- - Lead and manage a 40+ team covering buying, technical and fitting functions, driving team performance and daily operations.
- - Oversee full product development cycles, integrate latest fabrics, techniques and fashion trends to strengthen market competitiveness.
- - Manage supplier orders, negotiate pricing, quality and lead time to consistently meet commercial KPIs.
- - Develop production and supplier development strategies to accelerate trend speed-to-market and improve repeat order efficiency.
- - Partner with Product & Creative Directors to deliver commercial-driven seasonal collection plans.
- - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute long-term brand and business strategies across cost, quality and delivery targets.
- - Maintain and upgrade product fitting and quality standards to ensure premium and consistent product performance.
Qualifications
- - 15+ years of extensive experience in fashion buying and product development.
- - Bachelor’s degree in Textile/Fashion or exceptional professional track record.
- - Demonstrated strong leadership and large-team management experience.
- - Solid hands-on product and technical expertise in fashion development and manufacturing.
- - Strong business acumen, analytical thinking and structured prioritization skills.
- - Excellent fashion sensibility with proven ability to commercialize trends.
- - Outstanding negotiation, supplier management and cross-team collaboration skills.
- - Fluent written and spoken English for international business cooperation.
- - Result-oriented, passionate about delivering high-performance fashion products to market.
