Job Summary

Job Description

  • Performance Management
  • -Support performance management processes (30-, 60-, 90- Day Assessments, KPI Goal Setting, Mid year assessments, annual assessments)
  • -Provide counsel and guidelines to managers on HR issues
  • -Implement and update HR policies and procedures that support company goals and objectives
  • HR Management, Employee Relations, & Employee Engagement
  • -Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
  • -Maintains employee database by performing administrative tasks
  • -Conducts new employee onboarding process, ensuring new employee engagement, distribution of onboarding materials, and smooth operations
  • -Reviews onboarding materials such as background checks and employment eligibility verifications, ensuring the files are compliant with company and legal requirements
  • -Serve as a primary contact for employment-related inquiries, referring issues to the appropriate staff, including but not limited to immigration, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
  • -Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • -Collaborates with others to plan, direct, and coordinate programs and projects
  • -Documents and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of procedures
  • -Assists with designing and distributing materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment, and annual summary plan description
  • -Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including FMLA, FLSA, and ADA
  • -Negotiates with vendors and administrators for best plans, options, and rates
  • -Follow up with employees who need to provide proof documents for their benefit elections and/or life event changes
  • -Assist with proposals and implementation of wellness initiatives

Qualifications

  • -Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • -Degree of understanding of corporate strategy, commitment, and sense of belonging by people
  • -3+ year of relevant experience
  • -Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • -Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • -Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
  • -Ability to create and present ideas, reports, and budgets in various formats
  • -Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • -Excellent time management skills with the ability to assign and delegate tasks
  • -Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • -Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills
  • -PC skills to include MS Office Suite (Word, strong Excel skills, Outlook, PowerPoint),
  • -Previous experience with HRIS and timekeeping is highly beneficial
  • -Requires flexibility to varied work schedules based on business needs to accommodate all shifts
