Job Summary

Our Client is currently experiencing rapid growth and we are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our accounting and finance team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting and reporting of consolidated business results, and the integrity of the general ledger. The Accounting Manager will oversee the General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions for all company and its subsidiaries

Job Description

  • KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
  • - Understanding of SOX 404(b) compliance
  • - Financial Consolidation and close process
  • - Experience with international consolidation principles, including consolidating multiple entity financial statements
  • - Knowledge of US GAAP
  • - Excellent communication skills
  • - Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize work, and establish and execute plans to meet tight deadlines.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • - Reconciliation/Consolidation
  • - Perform the financial consolidation and close process quarterly and yearly. All financial data within the company is combined. (All subsidiaries, and even currencies are consolidated into a single reporting level)
  • - Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for multiple legal entities as well the consolidation of results in accordance with US GAAP
  • - The quarterly and annual consolidated and separate company provision for income taxes under both historical and purchase accounting rules under GAAP
  • - Coordinates, develop and oversees the Sarbanes Oxley activities relative to internal controls documentation and testing and segregation of duties.
  • - Prepare technical accounting memorandum and will assist with Sarbanes Oxley Act 404(b) implementation and compliance.
  • - Managing all aspects of the general ledger
  • - Develop and implement accounting procedures by evaluating current procedures and recommending changes.
  • - Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
  • - Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns, including preparation of sales/use tax returns
  • - Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
  • - Monitoring accounts and preparing activity reports and financial forecasts.
  • - Coordinating the preparation of provisions for income taxes for foreign companies under local/foreign statutory reporting rules
  • - All tax related disclosures under U.S. GAAP
  • - Overseeing the conversion of income tax provisions from U.S. GAAP
  • - Ability to convert from US GAPP to IFRS
  • - Perform special projects and other functions as necessary

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • - At least 10 years of demonstrated success in accounting roles of increasing responsibility
  • - Preferably a mix of both public accounting and corporate accounting roles.
